Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy
A psychotherapuetic treatment that integrates the practice of mindfulness with CBT. The goal of MBCT is to interrupt automatic thought processes by observing reactions to stimuli and learning to accept and observe these thoughts without judgment. Through this process of observing and reflecting, negative reactions are interrupted and eventually cease.
