Lung Cancer

I was recently contacted by the organization Mesothelioma Hope to share information about resources for patients with mesothelioma. After reviewing their website, I have been reminded of the significance that support groups hold in cancer treatment. Lung cancer is currently considered the deadliest cancer, in which a small percentage of people die within five years of receiving this diagnosis. Because the immediacy for treatment of lung cancer is essential to a patient’s prognosis, Mesothelioma Hope offers support groups to aid patients in their recovery. Patients are encouraged to seek out these resources. Families and non familial support systems of lung cancer patients are equally encouraged to seek support. For more information about mesothelioma, please click here. For help that exceeds support groups, please contact me directly for any request for individual and family therapy.
